What is the Ksh 15 per order? Do I pay it?
No — your customers pay it, not you. When a customer places an order through your JBOOKING link, they are charged your service price plus a Ksh 15 platform fee. That fee goes to JBOOKING to keep the platform running. You keep 100% of your service price.
How do customers find my business?
Two ways: (1) They open the JBOOKING app and see your pin on the Nairobi map — sorted by distance, open status, and category. (2) You share your personal JBOOKING link directly on WhatsApp, Instagram, or wherever your customers already are. Most vendors get their first order by sharing their link.
Why not just use WhatsApp and a notebook?
WhatsApp doesn't show customers where you are or if you're open. A notebook can't accept a pre-order at 10 PM. JBOOKING works for you while you work — orders come in, customers show up on time, and nothing gets lost.
My business is already on Google Maps. Why do I need this?
Google Maps shows your location. JBOOKING shows your live queue, your services, your prices, and lets customers pre-order. A customer who pre-orders will arrive committed. One who just saw you on Google Maps might not.
